Big Creek Charolais is located about an hour and a half south of Kansas City, near Harrisonville, Missouri. We are about 15 miles east of Harrisonville near 2 Highway.
We raise purebred, quality Charolais seedstock. Big Creek began when Carol Doughty acquired some Charolais females from her father, Martin Moran, in 1968. Since then, we have worked to establish a small herd using AI sires that are in demand for quality.
Our herd is focused on fertility, performance, EPD's, milk, and structurally sound, functional animals. With powerful foundation females like the Diamond Dam Queen Punkin family and the WC Dixie family, our herd will continue to excel in the breed. This puts Big Creek on the map in the Charolais industry.
Watch for our top consignments in spring and fall bull and female sales, and as always, we'll be at the shows!!
Our ad in the Charolais Journal is on the Missouri Charolais Breeder's page.
