Foundation Herd Matrons
Here are a few of our foundation herd matrons at Big Creek Charolais.
These great cows provided the base for our breeding program to grow.
Queen Punkin
Queen Punkin is the 7th AICA Diamond Dam of Distinction. She is
a March 1969 daughter of Prince Charmer. Her tenth and qualifying
calf was born on March 25, 1980.  Queen Punkin has provided the
foundation for Big Creek Charolais. The Punkin genetics are evident
in many of the animals from Big Creek over the years.

WC Dixie 1001 P
Dixie was purchased from the last Wesson sale in the Act I, II, and
III series. "Frosty" is truely a great female. A daughter of Threat and
WC Miss Fay. One of the best producing cows ever at Big Creek.
Dixie has produced many winning show heifers that have stayed to
make tremendous cows. Dixie's descendants have had a major impact
on the Big Creek breeding program.

Big Creek Babe Unlimited P
Babe is Dixie's second calf. She is an own daughter of the great BCR Polled
Unlimited 003. Quite possibly his most phenotypically correct and eye-appealing
daughter! Babe had a very successful show career, garnering Grand Champion
female at Missouri Cattleman's, Missouri State Fair Jr. Show, and many county
and area shows. She was division champion at Ozark Empire Fair, Missouri State
Fair and American Royal (as a calf  and as a heifer). Babe has produced some
really great progeny, including the winning show heifer, Big Creek Angel. Angel
won about every award her mother won! Granddam of National Champion, Big
Creek Angel P131.
